Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment of A Consultant to Carry out Socio-Economic Impact Assessment Studies for The Lola-N 'zoo-Côte D'ivoire Border Road Development and Asphalting Project. The services planned under this contract include the provision of monitoring and evaluation services for the socio-economic impacts of the Project based on the impact indicators selected for this project and mentioned in the logical framework appearing in the project evaluation report. . The consultant must, referring to the project appraisal report and the logical framework contained therein and in consultation with the executing agency, (i) specify the main indicators to be covered as well as the data to be compiled by major area of expected effects; (ii) propose a coherent methodological approach for the collection of data in the field, the collection tools, the analysis plan and a detailed program for carrying out the mission; (iii) establish the baseline situation before the resumption of works for the main impact indicators agreed for this project; (iv) carry out an ex-post evaluation of the socio-economic effects of this project at the end of the works; (v) carry out, also at the end of the project, an evaluation by the beneficiaries in order to have the populations' perception of the changes that have occurred in their environment and which they attribute, according to them, to the implementation of this project, and ( vi) produce reports relating to the different phases of the mission.
