Description:
The Procurement Unit (PU) of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), on behalf of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Global Maritime Crime Programme (GMCP), invites qualified suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest (EoI) for the enhancing of maritime security and safety at sea.To achieve this goal, UNODC is providing technical assistance to maritime law enforcement and port security authorities throughout the region. This support is aimed at improving their ability to respond effectively to maritime incidents and to coordinate operations across multiple jurisdictions.The primary objective is to support maritime law enforcement agencies providing them with the required equipment to better operate their visit board search and seizure and maritime domain awareness operations. These tools are vital for strengthening maritime operations and enhancing security and for contributing to a safer maritime environment.Further details will be communicated to interested vendors via the tendering documents.Please note hat this is not an invitation for submission for a bid and/or proposal.
