Expression of Interest are invited for Legal and Regulatory Assessment of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) & Movable Asset Based Lending (ABL). Publication Date: 13-Jan-2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 26-Jan-2022 Assignment Description:- IFC seeks to contract the services of an experienced consultancy firm (hereinafter Consultant) with extensive global expertise in the area of secured transactions, supply chain finance (SCF) and asset-based lending to conduct legal and regulatory assessments on a number of areas relating to these topics. The Consultant will be expected to use both primary and secondary data in addition to conducting interviews and discussions with regulators and other stakeholders as required to collect data and have better insights on the existing legislation. The Consultant is expected to work closely with the project team and provide technical expertise to the clients on legal and regulatory aspects of SCF and asset-based lending frameworks in Guinea. In collaboration with the project lead, IFC FIG specialists and experts, local and international consultants and the team in charge of project implementation in Guinea, the Consultant is expected to conduct the legal and regulatory review (the Review) and advise the client regarding the further improvements into the existing frameworks that would contribute to the broader assessment of the viability for launching SCF and movable asset-based lending products by local financial institutions in Guinea.
