Tenders are invited for Final Environmental and Social Safeguards The objective of this project is to help improve the living conditions of the population of these localities, by: (i) facilitating the access of households, basic social services and businesses to reliable energy services; and (ii) strengthening the capacities of public actors in the electricity sub-sector (Ministry of Energy and Electricity of Guinea (EDG)). More specifically, the project will make it possible to: (i) connect 77,422 customers to the network, of which 71,013 are new; (ii) reduce the number of hours per year outage from 91.3 to 70; and (iii) improve EDG's overall performance by reducing the overall loss rate from 29.7% to 25%. The Network Extension Access Development Project has six (06) components and relates to: · Component Development of access by extension of network ADF-financed activities cover thirty (30) localities spread over four (04) prefectures (Kankan, Kérouané, Lola and Beyla), and relate to: · Around 440 km of Medium Voltage (MT) lines · About 18 km of Mixed lines, · Around 545 km of Low Voltage (LV) lines (iv) Around (iv) 21 MV / LV masonry cabins (v) Around 94 H61 positions, and (vi) About 30,243 household connection equipment.
